Air Source Heat Pumps, how do they work.

Air Source heat pumps absorb heat from the air outside and in turn  cold gas is pumped out, even when its cold in winter - basically like a fridge in reverse!

The gas is compressed inside the Heat Pump which turns the heat absorbed from the outside air into a higher temperature.

This heat is then used to provide the heating and hot water when coupled with underfloor heating and/or radiators plus a hot water cylinder.

Heat Pumps work very well with underfloor heating when designed properly as unlike radiators the flow temperatures required of underfloor heating is much lower than that of radiators.
