Castellated Panel System

ETLPCRATE – 15mm Ultra Low Profile Castellated Panel.

This project already had an existing insulated solid floor that the installer was looking to utilise.

The finished floor was going to be an LVT (luxury vinyl tile) floor.

There was approximately 30mm to accommodate the underfloor heating system, so HPP suggested our Ultra Low Profile castellated panel, with a 12mm pipe.

The subfloor was primed with DX9 primer before the plastic sheet was removed from the self adhesive back on the castellated panels and they were fixed in place without any additional fixings or adhesive required.

The 12mm pipe was installed and 25mm of ST25 smoothing compound was poured on top, leaving 10mm of compound above the top of the pipework.

The design of the panel allows the compound to fully encapsulate the pipework as it flows through the holes in the castellation's.
