 Solid Floor & Staples System

A large domestic underfloor heating installation with multiple Danfoss manifolds along with bend formers placed below the manifold to help protect the and prevent kinks in the pipes as they exit the floor to the manifold.
Underfloor Heating installation using staple onto insulation method

ETSTP60 – 60mm Staples

The heat source for this project was a gas boiler with this being the case HPP designed the system with 200mm centres using our 16mm PE-RT pipe.

We always design the in-screed staple systems in a spiral (or Bifilar) pattern, as this spreads the heat evenly as it mixes the hotter flow pipework with the cooler return pipes.

The pipe is stapled to a membrane, before our ETEF25M perimeter insulation is installed around the edge of the room.

A traditional sand and cement screed was then installed on top.
