The Danfoss Ally Gateway central unit acts as an intermediary between the mobile application and the Danfoss Ally and Danfoss Icon heating elements .
It connects to the Internet using a LAN cable, while communicating with other devices using Zigbee technology. It receives heating settings from the mobile application and manages already set daily schedules.
Up to 32 thermostatic heads, 3 floor heating controllers and 10 Zigbee signal amplifiers can be connected to the unit.
It can control radiator and underfloor floor heating at the same time, so that both heat at the lowest possible cost to the desired temperature. It can also communicate with smart assistants such as – Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant .
In addition, it has an open API , which allows connection to devices from other manufacturers.
The unit’s software is updated automatically via the Internet connection, so there is no need to watch for updates.
